Just a random mushy post! :)
First of all we don't get to see eachother during the week and that makes it so hard, plus i work friday nights until 11:30 so that leaves at best, only two days to be together! It really is hard and since we got engaged i think it has just made waiting for the weekend to roll around even worse! We just miss eachother so much, and it will be so nice to see eachother everyday! We can hardly wait!
March...could you please get here quickly?!?!
Anyways, after nearly 3 years of dating I love him for many reasons! But here are a few...
*He is a little kid at heart. I love the fact that I'm pretty sure we have never gone into wal-mart without stopping in the toy aisle to look at the trucks. haha. (then quickly go over to the hunting stuff like it was his original destination, when it really wasn't)
*He kisses me on the forehead, plays with my hair, and when we cuddle he rubs the side of my face with his hand.
*He really worries about me. especially with how i drive late at night every night during the week. And when i got in my wreck back in april he rushed home from work, leaving early and stopped to buy me pink flowers, and my favorite kind of gatorade. Then he made sure to read the paperwork about how to watch for signs of a concussion before we could go cuddle on the couch. :) (i was broad-sided on the driver side and smashed the window with my head, giving me terrible whip-lash, cuts all over the side of my face and a cut on my eyelid that required some lovely stitches!)
*He is adorable with little kids. This one was one of the things that made me first fall in love with him! He has 5 younger brothers and his youngest was only 3 when we started dating, and he just is so great with him and all his younger cousins adore him, at family parties i usually don't even see him because he is chasing them around the yard or something! He is going to be such a good dad one day, i can't wait! :)
*He is just a happy person, it takes a lot to make him mad, even traffic doesn't usually get to him! lol. When I get upset or mad at something or someone he comforts me and makes me calm down, and just forget about it.
*When I'm with him I'm definitely my happiest self, I don't know what it is but I'm never stressed when I'm around him, and if I am when he comes to pick me up, i just seem to completely forget about it after a few minutes.
*He makes me laugh, anyone who knows me, knows i laugh a lot, and i love how we can be complete dorks together!
Anyways, you get the point.. I'm in love...hahah, and I really can't wait to marry this guy! James is the love of my life and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with him! :)

Random Funny Thoughts for People Our Age
Okay, so while I was doing a little "blog-stalking" i came across this, I am at work and was laughing so hard at some of these i finally lost it and started laughing out loud, and it was onlt made worse when I turned to see one of the nurses i work with, looking at me like, "ummm... okay..." (you know the look when you do something kinda dumb before they know what happened and can laugh?!) Anyways, by the time I saw the look on her face I totally cracked up and all i could do was point at the computer screen, and i had tears running down face! haha.. (p.s. i think things are made funnier by nature when you try and hold back laughing out loud...) LOL! So here it is, I hope you enjoy it!
*More often than not, when someone is telling me a story all I can think about is that I can't wait for them to finish so that I can tell my own story that's not only better, but also more directly involves me.
*Nothing sucks more than that moment during an argument when you realize you're wrong.
*Have you ever been walking down the street and realized that you're going in the complete opposite direction of where you are supposed to be going? But instead of just turning a 180 and walking back in the direction from which you came, you have to first do something like check your watch or phone or make a grand arm gesture and mutter to yourself to ensure that no one in the surrounding area thinks you're crazy by randomly switching directions on the sidewalk.
*I totally take back all those times I didn't want to nap when I was younger.
*Is it just me, or are 80% of the people in the "people you may know" feature on Facebook people that I do know, but I deliberately choose not to be friends with?
*Do you remember when you were a kid, playing Nintendo and it wouldn't work? You take the cartridge out, blow in it and that would magically fix the problem. Every kid in America did that, but how did we all know how to fix the problem? There was no internet or message boards or FAQ's. We just figured it out. Today's kids are soft.
*There is a great need for sarcasm font.
*Sometimes, I'll watch a movie that I watched when I was younger and suddenly realize I had no idea what was going on when I first saw it.
*I think everyone has a movie that they love so much, it actually becomes stressful to watch it with other people. I'll end up wasting 90 minutes shiftily glancing around to confirm that everyone's laughing at the right parts, then making sure I laugh just a little bit harder (and a millisecond earlier) to prove that I'm still the only one who really, really gets it.
*How are you supposed to fold a fitted sheet?
*I would rather try to carry 10 plastic grocery bags in each hand than take 2 trips to bring my groceries in.
*I think part of a best friend's job should be to immediately clear your computer history if you die.
*The only time I look forward to a red light is when I'm trying to finish a text.
*Was learning cursive really necessary?
*Lol has gone from meaning, "laugh out loud" to "I have nothing else to say".
*I have a hard time deciphering the fine line between boredom and hunger.
*Answering the same letter three times or more in a row on a Scantron test is absolutely petrifying.
*My brother's Municipal League baseball team is named the Stepdads. Seeing as none of the guys on the team are actual stepdads, I inquired about the name. He explained, "Cuz we beat you, and you hate us." Classy, bro.
*Whenever someone says "I'm not book smart, but I'm street smart", all I hear is "I'm not real smart, but I'm imaginary smart.”
*How many times is it appropriate to say "What?" before you just nod and smile because you still didn't hear what they said?
*I love the sense of camaraderie when an entire line of cars teams up to prevent an idiot from cutting in at the front. Stay strong, brothers!
*Every time I have to spell a word over the phone using 'as in' examples, I will undoubtedly draw a blank and sound like a complete idiot. Today I had to spell my boss's last name to an attorney and said "Yes that's G as in...(10 second lapse)..ummm...Goonies"
*What would happen if I hired two private investigators to follow each other?
*While driving yesterday I saw a banana peel in the road and instinctively swerved to avoid it...thanks Mario Kart.
*MapQuest really needs to start their directions on #5. Pretty sure I know how to get out of my neighborhood.
*Obituaries would be a lot more interesting if they told you how the person died.
*I find it hard to believe there are actually people who get in the shower first and THEN turn on the water.
*Shirts get dirty. Underwear gets dirty. Pants? Pants never get dirty, and you can wear them forever.
*I can't remember the last time I wasn't at least kind of tired.
*Bad decisions make good stories.
*Whenever I'm Facebook stalking someone and I find out that their profile is public I feel like a kid on Christmas morning who just got the Red Ryder BB gun that I always wanted. 546 pictures? Don't mind if I do!
*Is it just me or do high school girls get sluttier & sluttier every year?
*If Carmen San Diego and Waldo ever got together, their offspring would probably just be completely invisible.
*Why is it that during an ice- breaker, when the whole room has to go around and say their name and where they are from, I get so incredibly nervous? Like I know my name, I know where I'm from, this shouldn't be a problem....
*You never know when it will strike, but there comes a moment at work when you've made up your mind that you just aren't doing anything productive for the rest of the day.
*Can we all just agree to ignore whatever comes after DVDs? I don't want to have to restart my collection.
*There's no worse feeling than that millisecond you're sure you are going to die after leaning your chair back a little too far.
*I'm always slightly terrified when I exit out of Word and it asks me if I want to save any changes to my ten page research paper that I swear I did not make any changes to.
*"Do not machine wash or tumble dry" means I will never wash this ever.
*I hate being the one with the remote in a room full of people watching TV. There's so much pressure. 'I love this show, but will they judge me if I keep it on? I bet everyone is wishing we weren't watching this. It's only a matter of time before they all get up and leave the room. Will we still be friends after this?'
*I hate when I just miss a call by the last ring (Hello? Hello? Dang it!), but when I immediately call back, it rings nine times and goes to voicemail. What'd you do after I didn't answer? Drop the phone and run away?
*I hate leaving my house confident and looking good and then not seeing anyone of importance the entire day. What a waste.
*When I meet a new girl, I'm terrified of mentioning something she hasn't already told me but that I have learned from some light internet stalking.
*I like all of the music in my iTunes, except when it's on shuffle, then I like about one in every fifteen songs in my iTunes.
*Why is a school zone 20 mph? That seems like the optimal cruising speed for pedophiles...
*As a driver I hate pedestrians, and as a pedestrian I hate drivers, but no matter what the mode of transportation, I always hate cyclists.
*Sometimes I'll look down at my watch 3 consecutive times and still not know what time it is.
*It should probably be called Unplanned Parenthood.
*I keep some people's phone numbers in my phone just so I know not to answer when they call.
*Even if I knew your social security number, I wouldn't know what do to with it.
*Even under ideal conditions people have trouble locating their car keys in a pocket and Pinning the Tail on the Donkey- but I'd bet everyone can find and push the Snooze button from 3 feet away, in about 1.7 seconds, eyes closed, first time every time...
*My 4-year old son asked me in the car the other day "Dad what would happen if you ran over a ninja?" How do I respond to that?
*It really ticks me off when I want to read a story on CNN.com and the link takes me to a video instead of text.
*I wonder if cops ever get ticked off at the fact that everyone they drive behind obeys the speed limit.
*The other night I ordered takeout, and when I looked in the bag, saw they had included four sets of plastic silverware. In other words, someone at the restaurant packed my order, took a second to think about it, and then estimated that there must be at least four people eating to require such a large amount of food. Too bad I was eating by myself. There's nothing like being made to feel like a fatty before dinner.
***Sometimes its nice to come across something that makes you laugh, especially after a long day of school, and work until late, and then a test to still study for! hahah! a good laugh is needed after a long day i think! So maybe you didn't find this near as funny as i did, but I hope it at least made you smile! :D

Labor day weekend
So our weekend was so relaing and just fun! We really didn't do anything special, but we did have two whole days on saturday, sunday, and most of the day monday to hang out! Usually James has to work starting sunday night so we only get saturday and a few hours sunday, so this weekend was a nice change!
Hmmm...saturday and sunday we just layed around, cuddling, and watching movies and tv. Sunday night we ate a really great dinner at my parents' house and my dad made chicken that was covered in some type of bread crumbs and then baked with marinated artichokes, and onions! Seriously so good, I'm sure it wasn't very healthy, but very yummy!
Then monday we went and ate lunch at his mom's house and just hung out for awhile and then went to RC Willeys because they wanted to buy a new dining table! James and I walked around finding styles of couches and such that we liked for our future house too! That was really fun I love when we do stuff like that! :D
Anyways, I know our weekend wasn't all that adventurous but we are also really trying to cut out eating out so much like we used to, and movies and such, we have a lot coming up for us in the next 6 months so we are doing our best to save up!
Well, I hope everyone had a nice long weekend!
p.s. I really can't wait to get my dress in, its so far away but i really want to wear it again haha! oh the anticipation! haha

Last two weekends (long post sorry!)
So, James and I had another great weekend together! And thinking about it I never blogged about two weekends ago! Okay so rewind to two weekends ago! James and I tried to take off a couple extra days so that we could have an extra long weekend together, well it didn't totally work out that way because they really needed James to go in. We still had Friday night together (which I usually work) so we went out with Mitch and Kelsey (my cousin Kels and her hubby) it was so long overdue! But we went bowling and to dinner at Chili's! It was way fun! I miss them, but we all have very different schedules and don't have many chances to hang out. Not sure what else we did that weekend.. oh except hanging out at his mom's house and we had a fire and made smores (we even had them before dinner... lol)! But it was still a good weekend and a nice break for me before school started!
Okay now for this last weekend! James and I only had saturday and sunday to hang out like usual :'( but Saturday was fun we just went to a late lunch at TGI Fridays (one of our faves!) And then just spent the rest of the night together watching TV and movies, and the part i thought was the most fun, we went to Wal-mart and before we left we walked through the section with housewares and such! See... as a newly engaged couple, we haven't shopped for anything yet to register as our wedding is still a little over 6 months away, but saturday night we did! We looked at the vaccuums, found a cool blender, utensils, pots and pans, food processors and toaster ovens! Hahah... it was so funny because he actually got really into it and was finding stuff he liked and we stayed in that area for a good half hour! lol. It was just so fun to look at that kind of stuff that we will need when we are married! I can't wait to actually go and register for gifts! (p.s. we might have too much fun with the scanner thing they give you...lol) oh and don't be surprised if James sneaks in a few toy trucks or something to our gift registry! LOL. He is like a little kid and still loves toy trucks, we usually make a stop in the toy aisle when we go to wal-mart, and it just cracks me up, i tried to sneak a picture for my readers, but he caught me and wouldn't let me! :D Anyways, I hope you all had a good weekend as well!

Wedding Dress!

Jenny, here is my wedding dress post! lol!Ahh! I'm so excited about it! this is the light gold version but I bought the diamond white (which is slightly off white, but you can only tell when compared to something that is all white). And I'm posting this because James doesn't ever get on the computer and wouldn't even know how to find our blog haha! So that is lucky for my few readers, otherwise I wouldn't post until after the wedding! I'm going to do my best to not cave and show him the dress until I'm walking down the aisle!
oh p.s. I even got the flower in her hair that's pictured here, it matches the flowers on the dress and will be the diamond white! plus, i have a small veil that goes a little ways down my back! Oh I can't wait for it to get here, so I can try it on again with the flower and veil (they didn't have the flower in the store, so it will be fun to see it all together!)
Wedding Plans!
Well, the wedding plans are definitely coming right along! I found my dress and ordered it! Sadly, it wont be here til January! Good thing I ordered now, it will be here just in time! Maybe I'll attempt to post the picture of it! hahah...But we booked the Chantilly Mansion for the wedding and reception, such a cute place! And now just to decide on the photographer, flowers, bridesmaids and mom's dresses! This has been so much fun, I just love it! :)
Also, I can't wait for us to find a house and be able to decorate! I have been buying things for our house for over a year! LOL... i know, its kinda silly, but I have a way cute set of dishes from Tai Pan, mirrors, wall sconces, candles, picture frames, pots, flowers, clocks, paitnings and other little deorations, basically our whole bedroom will be ready to go the minute we move in! haha! Plus a few other decorations here and there! I can't wait to put it up! when I first started buying stuff i just kept it out in my room, because i was so excited about it, but eventually it drove me nuts and there was just too much so I had to organize it all and put it in the basement! LOL. Anyways, I haven't bought anything in awhile, because at this point I am just waiting to see what we will actually need... like towels, or pots and pans... I don't know just stuff like that! haha...

Camping!!!
So this last weekend James and I went camping with his mom's side of the family to Flaming Gorge! It was so much fun, and i didn't really know what to expect since i have only been like once or twice a long time ago! I should have taken more swearshirts and long pants with me! Friday and saturday it was freezing, even for most of the day! It rained, and the wind was blowing really hard, around the campfire we were all bundled up with blankets and sweatshirts! hahaha, not exactly what i expected it to be like in august! lol! But it was tons of fun spending the whole weekend together and just relaxing! Sunday was a little warmer so we took advantage and went out on the boats, went tubing and just got in the water (it was freezing too!) and then after a few hours, a little sun, and some lunch we headed in and it was time to go home! :( We also got to tell his family we were engaged because some of them didn't know yet! and they were all way excited!
James has the cutest little cousins, and one little girl became my best friend hahah, she was too cute, and there were lots of funny stories and funny things that the little kids did, and i just loved it, because even though i have been to their family parties for the last 3 years i really felt like i was part of the family! it was great! :D I love James so much and we are just so excited to go on our own little camping trips just the two of us once we are married!
oh p.s. we booked our wedding and reception place! I'm so excited i think it will be just perfect! And me, my mom, and James' mom are all gonna go dress shopping this week! (his mom has six boys and no girls, plus we are just really close, so we decided to invite her along and thought she would like doing the whole girly dress shopping thing! And then the two moms can pick out their dresses maybe too!) I can't wait! it will be a blast! :)
