My posts are always really long, so I'll try to keep it short and sweet! :) But I had a pretty good Christmas, although i had to work 6 hrs on xmas eve and xmas day! boo!
We went to as many family parties as we could, luckily some are after xmas and some are the weekend before, so we don't go completely crazy trying to make it to all of them! haha! Next year we will have to figure out a game plan for the parties and just rotate who we go and see, otherwise its a little exhausting!
James and I didn't get anything for eachother because our plan has been to wait for the Presidents' Day sales (which are always really good) and buy us a couch set for our apartment! Plus, by then we may even have James moved into one, so that we can take the couches straight there! :) So, I'm excited for it to be february so we can go buy a couch! lol! and to make a final decision on an apartment!!!
I'm sad that the holiday season is almost over, it has been a nice break, and then its back to school, work, and still quite a bit of wedding planning to do... I have a feeling I'm gonna be really busy these next few months! But it will be fun and well worth it! :)
Only 73 more days!!!! We are so excited and I hope it goes by fast! :)
I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and has a Happy New Year!
oh.. and P.S. I went and bought some way cute ornaments for our Christmas tree! YAY! they are cute white reindeer that are all glittery, with red glitter noses, and green-beads as legs haha- its hard to explain, but we will have such a cute tree next year- i can't wait! oh, and I got us some cute stockings too!

87 days!!!
well... I have been counting down to our big day on facebook and we are finally down to the double-digits! YAY! hahah... this used to seem forever away, starting out with 190 days is way too long! But its finally feeling like our wedding day is gonna get here! and we are so excited! :)
Also, we went and registered at Target two weekends ago! It was really fun, but took forever! I even made a list before we went so we had focus and so nothing would be forgotten! We still managed to take a good 2 1/2 hours though! We were so exhausted by the time we got done! haha!
And.. I'm so excited about something else... something I didn't think I would EVER say I was excited about... a VACCUUM! hahah, my grandma had one that she got for like 20$ after buying something at RC Willey's and its just been in her basement for awhile, so she told me to come over and look at it and take it if I wanted to! So I did, and went right home and put it together and tried it out! LOL it was so fun! .... :)
*(not that I don't clean or anything, but I guess of all the things that come with getting married and your own place, that was something that never crossed my mind until we started thinking of stuff to register for, and even then I was more excited about pots and pans, silverware, etc... So I just thought it was funny how exited i got today when i put together my very own vaccuum! LOL )
Anyways, last night James and I went to his mom's family's Christmas party. It was so fun and reall good food! His Grandma and Grandpa just take all the adults 18 and over to dinner every year instead of buying each one a gift (because it is quite a few people now, and just easier and fun!) So we went and ate at Brickenbrackers (?) in ogden by the ogden airport, and oh yum! You need to try that place! Its more expensive i think (We did a banquet dinner so I didn't see the menu) but their yams, mashed potatoes, and chicken were SO good! (the yams were so rich though I counted them as my dessert hahah!)
Oh and another quick story! We went and looked at an apartment last night before the dinner and this apartment was so cute, cozy... but way cute! hahah, and it was just so fun finally being close enough to getting married to look at places to live! I have been thinking about where could put my decorations in that apartment and everything LOL! We are still going to keep looking, and that one is slightly more than what we would like to pay, but its definitely still on our list! yay! I can't wait to go see more and finally get an apartment! We just need to wait until about february to get real serious on actually moving James into somewhere and then moving in my stuff. He is waiting to start a new job up on base and won't start until January 4th, so after that we can get really serious about finding a place to live but its fun to start looking!
*Does anyone know of some cute apartments for around $700 a month? if so let me know! :)
